Election Day
If you are still undecided about who to vote for tomorrow, or if you honestly think a vote for me is a vote for Ford, please keep reading. I want you to think about these facts when you go vote tomorrow -
About Harold Ford, Jr.:
- He claims to support the war by constantly saying he voted for it, yet he also said last year on "Imus In the Morning" that if he knew then what he knows now he would have voted "no".
- He addresses "The War in Iraq" like it's not part of the bigger war we are in against the terrorists.
- While I don't want to doubt someones relationship with God, I find it strange that Ford is acting like an evangelical over the last month or two when he's part of a party that wants to remove God from everything.
- Ford comes from a family that has been mired in political corruption, so why should we think he's any different?
- Ford wants us off middle-eastern oil, yet he voted against drilling in Alaska and also for building any new refineries.
- Ford campaigned for John "I think the troops are stupid" Kerry in 2004, and also has had the ONLY President to be impeached come to Tennessee to campaign for him.
- He wants to act like he's tough on illegal immigration when this problem has escalated under his watch the past ten years while he's been in Washington and he never introduced any legislation to solve this problem. He likes to say how he voted for the toughest immigration bill, but I find it self-serving when this bill came up during an election year. Plus, he has yet to say what should be done with the millions of illegals already here and nothing about this issue is on his website.
- He has yet to come out with a position on Iran.
- He has never mentioned anything about the NAIS or the SPP.
About Bob Corker:
- Claims to be tough on illegal immigration yet has NEVER stated what should happen to the ones who are already here. He has also supported Bush's "guest worker" program and didn't post anything about it on his website until the Senate started talking about it last Spring.
- Was called "pond scum" by Bill Frist, yet Frist is now campaigning for him because he's a Republican.
- Was called "The king of liars" by Ed Bryant, yet Bryant now campaigns for him because Corker is a Republican.
- Van Hilleary claimed Corker's ads were "devoid of honor and integrity", yet Hilleary is also campaigning for Corker because he's a Republican. Hilleary also said "he obviously is not who he says he is".
- Corker has NEVER said anything about the NAIS or the SPP that I've seen or been told about when I've called him out on it.
- Corker also refers to the "War in Iraq" as a separate war we are in, and doesn't treat it like the major battlefield in this war we are in.
- Corker hasn't released a strong stand about Iran by any means.
This is what people have been force-fed via TV ads and the media. These are the "real" candidates. If you consider yourself a conservative and if you truly want to make a statement, I ask for your vote tomorrow. We have been pawns in this political game too long, and it's time we stand up and say "ENOUGH!". A vote for me is NOT a vote for Ford as some have said, it's a vote for real American values and also a message to this joke of a two-party system that we are tired of the garbage.
I really want to thank everyone who has spread the word of my campaign and also thank those who have supported me. I'm really looking forward to voting tomorrow because I know that I will be casting a vote for the one candidate who "gets it". I don't want to sound arrogant or egotistical because I know I've heard from a lot of people who "get it". I'm just happy that I can sleep well tomorrow night voting what's in my heart, and I ask for those of you who consider yourselves conservatives to do the same. Do not play into the game of the two-party and lesser of two evils system...vote with your heart and we can make a difference.
